A Journey for Cultural Exchange to Aotearoa New Zealand
February 17th - March 4th, 2008

Robert Dakota

Robert Dakota, Theologian, Mosaic Artist, Visual Artist, Independent Filmmaker and Visionary Co-founder of World ViewZ Global Culture Exchange, holds a B.A. in Biblical literature, & an M.A. in Theology. Upon graduation from his masters program he was faced with a decision at the age of 26, to continue onto acquire his PhD or follow his passion.

He chose to follow his passion for travel and embarked on several journeys abroad believing that he would arrive at the same conclusions by entering the University of Life through travel. He has traveled to 11 countries in Europe, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand & Australia, Bali, Japan, Honduras, Peru, & also has traveled extensively in his home country USA. Dakota says, "that his greatest universal education of all came through traveling".

After returning to the US from being abroad for a year and a half he refocused his attention on his organization World ViewZ that he had been developing through out his travels over 21 years. He relocated to Sedona AZ and attended Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmakers. From 2oo3-2oo7 He has shot over 400 hours of video from many different cultures teaming up with his partner Diane M Cooper who organizes her own tours to remote regions.

In addition he has shot over 30,000 digital still images, not counting the 5,000 35mm images over the years of travel, he has created 4 professional DVDs and now has 2 years of editing experience under his belt. Knowing that Imagery & Symbolism are vital to humanities development on our planet, his focus has been to create World ViewZ for individuals to create their own message, utilizing multi-media as the way to recreate a planetary culture that honors and celebrates the best all cultures have to offer.
