Ruth Makuini Tai

Ruth Makuini Tai - Infopreneur and Ambassador for Peace, Ruth was raised beneath Putauaki mountain in Kawerau New Zealand. Her upbringing was influenced by her mother's Tuwharetoa, Ngati Awa and her father's Tuhoe Potiki, Ngati Raka, Ngati Awa tribal upbringing.

Ruth has long held a strong interest in human origins and human potential. She taught in Hamilton schools and in 1990 completed lecturing at the Hamilton Teacher's Training College (now the School of Education at Waikato University). After resigning Ruth funded her own research into Sacred Psychology, Whole Brain Learning, The Science of Reiki, Second Language Learning, Permaculture (Earth Care) and Entrepreneurship, learning from world leaders in their field like Dr Jean Houston, Dr Elisabet Sahtouris, Robert Kiyosaki, Joe Polaischer, Don Tolman and others. Some of these leaders gifted generous scholarships to support Ruth with her research. Their teachings exposed her to quantum science, evolution biology, whole brain learning and financial intelligence. These disciplines gave her a language to help translate the wisdom encoded in the teachings of the old time Maori. She found early translations to be patriarchal and ignorant of the feminine essence.

Ruth has owned and developed several small businesses including publishing, building construction, network marketing and human potential workshop facilitation. As an infopreneur (transformation guide, writer and speaker) she inspires international audiences with her insights and capacity to raise consciousness. She combines the timeless wisdom of her ancestors with her skills as an Educator, Systems Analyst and Organic Thinker to help people heal and progress beyond stuck-ness in life and business.

Ruth was certified as an ambassador for peace at the second Mongolian Conference for World Peace held in Korea 2004. She was invited to speak at the 2006 inaugural Indigenous Grandmothers Gathering speaking about Wisdom Of Mother Beauty (W.O.M.B) on Catalina Island, Los Angeles USA. She presented her first events in the USA in 2000, and in November/December 2006 she co-presented with Hirini Reedy their first international tour throughout California, USA.
