About the Seminar
Grandmothers Healing Haka was created by Mere Tewake Tana and her grandson Ojasvin Kingi Davis in 1998, inspired by the "Earth celebration" in Switzerland, an arts festival of all cultures of the world.
Grandmothers Healing Haka Seminar is very powerful, deep, liberating, safe, warm, loving, healing and joyful. Out of silence and ritual, we sing, shout, make music and dance Haka. With a full healing heart we create all together dynamic free peace.
In this seminar you shall be introduced to the first part of the actual Grandmothers Healing Haka dance, built upon the elements of rhythm, language, music, dance, song, body exercises and meditation, from the "Yoga of Integral Learning".
HAKA is a traditional power dance practiced by Maori people. It is known to be vigorously expressed with strong vocal and dynamic body gestures. This art form not only can prepare your state of mind for battle, but it can also bring your mind toward the state of healing that gives you empowerment and self confidence. As Haka is a dance that comes from the heart it lets you bypass the intellect to re-connect you directly with your spiritual roots and your primal energies, known as Mana, Kundalini, Chi or Vouivre.
"Yoga of Integral Learning" from the school "MIN-I.L.I.T." is the discipline that uses the methods of the universal learning process of development. This can be observed and experienced everywhere in nature. From a Maori perspective this process is understood as Wananga. The "Yoga of Integral Learning" comes directly out of the primal source and guides everyone to his or her unique code of evolution, on the way behind the ways.
Ojasvin Kingi Davis is Maori from the people of Ngaitupoto, Ngatihine, Ngapuhi. His bloodline and family tradition reaches back to the stream of Waitaha. In his upbringing and studies he was uniquely immersed in his living culture.
For nine years he has been training and co-working alongside his teacher and is now an appointed teacher for the "Yoga of Integral Learning".
Iris Häusermann born and raised in Switzerland. Her parents presented her an artistic upbringing connected to nature through the Waldorf School of Zug. Continuing on she became a public teacher before she studied theater and dance at the Comart in Zurich. She is now a teacher for the "Yoga of Integral Learning".
Grandmothers Healing Haka is growing worldwide and has its roots in Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Mexico, Canada and New Zealand.
