Diane Cooper and Robert Dakota of WorldViewZ, hosts of the New Year's Eve Multi-Media Interactive Dance Experience.

The event will be held at the Verde Valley School auditorium in the Village of Oak Creek from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Didgeridoo master and flute player John Dumas will join The Shapeshifters and drummer Three Trees as guest musicians set to perform at the first Multi-Media Interactive Dance Experience on New Year's Eve.

Kids and adults of all ages are invited to attend the family oriented extravaganza, which will offer dancing to live music and guest DJs, musical performances, dance featuring the Light Vibe Dance Company, creative play, ceremony and much more. In a setting of creative lighting and great music, hosts Robert Dakota and Diane Cooper will present imagery from their recent travels.

"Be prepared to celebrate," Dakota says. He adds that the "interactive" aspect of the party means that everyone is invited to join in the drumming and interact with some of the special lighting and props that will be available.

Says Cooper, "Come and play. with us. Help us bring in the New Year at this ecstatic multi-media visionary dance experience." She said people from all over the world - Europe, Russia, Japan, Canada, South America - will attend.



'Digital Magic' to ring in the New Year at Verde Valley School.

Ring in the New Year like it's never been done before: at the first multi-media, interactive "Digital Magic" dance party at Verde Valley School in the Village of Oak Creek. The event, open to everyone includ-ing kids of all ages, runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Robert Dakota and Diane Cooper of WorldViewZ are the hosts of this unique happening, which will include imagery from their travels to Peru, Bali and Japan combined with ceremony, dance, live music, drum-ming, play and creative lighting.

"Bring your drums, rattles and didgeridoos, and be prepared to celebrate, jam, and envision the New Year!" says Dakota.

Guest musicians include Shape-shifters, featuring Aziz and Khabira Paige, and ecstatic drummer Three Trees. Mem-bers of the Light Vibe Dance Troop will also perform. Everyone is encouraged to dress in white to take advantage of the cre-ative lighting that will be part of the experience, says Dakota.

"Shadow dancing, fluorescent toys, balls and other fun stuff will be available for play," says Cooper. "It's a true interactive event. Every-one will be part of the creative pro-cess. Help us bring in the New Year through art, music, dance and play!"

Cooper and Dakota are calling it "the ultimate multi-media visionary dance experience."

The event also will be filmed as part of a WorldViewZ documentary being created by Dakota, a stu-dent at Zaki Gordon Film School in Sedona, to unite communities through the arts. And the New Year's Eve celebration marks the official launch of the WorldViewZ Global Cultural Exchange Web site, www.worldviewz.net.

"The Web site enables people from around the world to join a media movement supporting the arts, edu-cation, homesharing, cultural exchange, travel, self-promotion, networking and forums on various topics," says Dakota.

His vision gives individuals from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to connect by sharing their own view of the world in peaceful, creative ways.

The event, documentary and website are all part of a vision by Robert to give individuals from diverse backgrounds around the planet, the opportunity to connect by expressing their own view of the world. Creative Lighting, Shadow Dancing, Florescent Toys, Balls and other fun stuff will be available for Play! Guest Musicians will perform as well as members of the Light Vibe Dance Company.
